Homebound Saturday

Kitchen Update:
Dale drove down to Sacramento this morning to pick up the next set of wall cabinets. He left at 8:30 a.m. and got home in time for lunch. He worked in the afternoon to take down the current wall cabinets. We have the cabinet "stuffings" all over the place. Of course, we couldn't make dinner. And... we are going to try another yellow. We should have listened to Lauri in the first place! She was trying to tell us that yellows always end up being too yellow when you put it on the wall. We went to Joanne's house and brought paint chips to match the beautiful yellow she has on her walls. So Dale has reconfirmed with me 3 times today, "Are you sure you want to change the color?"
I did go to the farmer's market today and buy: walnuts, eggs, butternut squash, gala apples & grapefruit. There was a lot of bok choy and beets for sale, but I am not sure what to do with them.
Sickness again: So Zachary is sick this time, so he has been hanging out on the couch all day. I am hoping that he recovers quicker than Sean did.

Hi Lisa!
Im checking out your neat blog.
So, you are remodeling....fun isn't it. I live in a constant state of remodeling. Kitchens are not always so fun. I hope you love the outcome.

Your new book sounds good for gardeners...is it?

Also, I love the link to Klean Kanteen.

Yes, you are up late too! It is written for gardeners and it has a lot of interesting tidbits about why we should eat more local produce.
