Kitchen Update: The yellow was too yellow!! Dale and I picked out a color last night: Oat Straw, but it was too dark for Dale, so we went today and picked out "Country Beige"
Family Update: We played our new game, "Dinner Games and Activities" that we got from Stephanie for Christmas. The card tonight had us eating in candlelight with "classical music." It also suggested that we could eat standing up another night (Zachary wanted to try it out immediately!). We pulled another card where we needed to guess the occupation from hints/clues from other family members. One of Zachary's: 1) Works from home; 2) Works on the computer and 3) Uses their imagination... scroll down for Answer
Cooking 101:
Sean used his new cookbook to start "overnight french toast." As we were working on the french toast, Zachary wanted to make cookies from his "own memorized recipe." So he created a dough for cookies with cinnamon & sugar sprinkle. A little doughy, but not bad. He left out the butter, so I think he might try again tomorrow.
